Bartender
The job
We are looking for enthusiastic ‘bartending-loving’ new colleagues in Amsterdam, who want to be a part of Amsterdam’s new hidden hotspot: Do Not Disturb. The ideal candidate is a driven team player who has experience serving drinks in a fast-paced environment. The Bartender ensures all guests are served with drinks within the bar in a friendly and efficient manner in accordance with our company standards. You prepare cocktails and special drinks and follow up with spot checks to ensure a consistent quality of drinks is guaranteed. You ensure that the Bar area is prepared correctly for excellent service. The Bartender has a complete knowledge of service techniques, drinks lists and specialties offered in the Bar and tables, served to the correct DND standards. Furthermore, our ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
Responsibilities
- Serve and prepare all cocktails and (special) drinks
- Manage customers seated/standing in the bar area
- Greeting customers
- Manage drink transfers and all financial transactions at the bar
- Provide a timely greeting to all guests
- Positive attitude and aim to provide great communication skills
Requirements
- Work experience as a Bartender
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and high volume environment
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- You are located in Amsterdam (or nearby)
- English needs to be spoken fluently
- Ability to have a flexible schedule
- Willingness to work during peak hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to uphold all company policies and brand standards
