The job
Do you want to be a part of Amsterdam’s new hotspot that will stir things up in the night scene?
Because we are looking for an experienced Head Hostess that has a passion for exceptional service and who infuses enthusiasm and passion into everything she does. You will take the Do Not Disturb hostess team to the next level and are you are responsible for setting the tone!
This position is service oriented and extremely outgoing. You are responsible for recognizing regular guests, where you will inform the guests about the table options if needed and lead them through the ideal options to provide a “wow” experience. Our DND Head Hostess is also leading the hostess team in a motivational atmosphere and has a complete knowledge of service techniques, drinks lists and specialties offered in Do Not Disturb and served to the correct standards, to pass on. You lead by example and make sure your team is always spot on!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for welcoming and greeting all guests
- Building your own DND network and keep contact with regular guests
- Excellent customer service skills in person and over the phone
- Positive attitude and aim to provide communication skills
- Setting up events & executing them
- Organizing trainings for your team
- Capable of doing interviews and appraisals
- Contribute your part to the management team
- Final responsibility of all bookings, reservations, complaints
Job requirements
- Previous work experience as a hostess (team leader)
- Fluent speaking, writing in English
- Excellent customer service skills in person, in writing and in speaking
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- Flexible availability on nights and weekends
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
- Living in or nearby Amsterdam
