Table server
The job
We are looking for energetic, self-motivated Table Servers who can uplift our guests experience for our new, hidden hotspot: Do Not Disturb. As our Do Not Disturb Table Sever, you play an important role in our daily operations by ensuring a world-class table service and make sure all our guests enjoy their DND experience. Our ideal candidate can work well under pressure in a team environment, has a distinct need for a job he or she can take pride in and is a natural at driving and creating sales in a late night environment. Ultimately, you should be a team player, who is be able to effectively communicate with all colleagues and ensure that the Do Not Disturb experience will never be forgotten.
Responsibilities
- A warm and welcoming delivery while processing our valued regular and walk-in guests
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Communicate order details to the team
- Serve drink orders
- Arrange table settings
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Positive attitude and aim to provide great communication skills
Job requirements
- Previous work experience as a waiter/waitress
- Excellent customer service skills in person, in writing and in speaking
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- You are located in Amsterdam (or nearby)
- Flexible availability on nights, weekends and holidays
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
- English needs to be spoken fluently
